Often affectionately dubbed the 'baby Beaucastel,' Les Sinards Rouge is crafted primarily from the younger vines of the legendary Château de Beaucastel (under 15 years of age), supplemented by select neighboring plots within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. This wine offers an accessible window into the prestigious terroir of the southern Rhône, where the vineyards are famously covered in 'galets roulés'—large, heat-retaining quartzite stones left behind by ancient alpine glaciers. These stones absorb the intense Provençal sun by day and radiate warmth to the vines at night, fostering optimal ripeness.
