Famille Perrin's 'Nature' Côtes du Rhône is a vibrant testament to the family's pioneering spirit in organic viticulture, a philosophy they have championed in the southern Rhône Valley since the mid-20th century. Crafted from organically certified vineyards, this cuvée is designed to express the purest, most unadulterated character of the classic Grenache and Syrah blend. The grapes are grown on gravelly clay-limestone soils, which impart a signature freshness and mineral undertone to the wine. In the cellar, the Perrins employ gentle extraction and age the wine in stainless steel and concrete vats, deliberately avoiding oak to safeguard the bright, crunchy red fruit aromas and spicy garrigue notes. This approach honors the local heritage of honest, terroir-driven bistro wines that have graced French tables for generations.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Established in the southern Rhône Valley and closely tied to the legendary Château de Beaucastel since 1909, Famille Perrin is one of France's most respected winemaking dynasties. Under the visionary guidance of Jacques Perrin and subsequent generations, the family pioneered organic viticulture in 1950 and biodynamic farming in 1974. Based in Courthézon, they are celebrated for their masterful blending of all thirteen permitted Châteauneuf-du-Pape grape varieties, aging their wines in traditional large oak foudres to preserve purity and terroir. Their world-class portfolio ranges from the iconic, Mourvèdre-dominant Château de Beaucastel Hommage à Jacques Perrin to expressive regional selections like Les Sinards and La Gille.
