Famille Perrin's Rosé is a vibrant expression of the Southern Rhône's sun-drenched terroirs. Sourced from select vineyards across the region, including the limestone-rich soils of the Luberon and the clay-limestone terraces of the Côtes du Rhône, this wine is crafted using traditional direct pressing and short maceration methods. The Perrin family's deep-rooted history in the region shines through in this fresh, pale-pink cuvée. Historically, rosé in the Rhône was a staple of local tables, celebrated for its ability to pair beautifully with the garlic, olive oil, and herb-infused dishes of Provençal cuisine. This wine captures that Mediterranean spirit, offering a delicate balance of red berry fruit, refreshing acidity, and a subtle mineral undertone.

Famille Perrin is one of the Southern Rhône Valley’s most revered viticultural dynasties, tracing its modern winemaking lineage to 1909 when Pierre Tramier acquired the iconic Château de Beaucastel in Courthézon. Under the transformative leadership of Jacques Perrin, the estate became an early pioneer of organic viticulture in 1950 and fully embraced biodynamic farming in 1974. Now stewarded by the fourth and fifth generations, the Perrin family commands exceptional crus across Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, and Vinsobres. Rooted in the classic galets roulés, molasse, and limestone clays buffeted by the drying Mistral winds, their philosophy emphasizes poly-varietal balance, biodiversity, and minimal intervention. Winemaking favors gentle extraction, indigenous yeast fermentations, and traditional maturation in large neutral oak foudres. Benchmark expressions include the monumental Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape—distinguished by its high proportion of Mourvèdre and inclusion of all thirteen canonical varieties—and the rare, intensely aromatic Château de Beaucastel Roussanne Vieilles Vignes.
