Bodegas Faustino, located in the historic village of Oyon within Rioja Alavesa, represents over 150 years of Spanish winemaking legacy. Gran Faustino is a testament to this heritage, showcasing the classic Rioja style defined by elegance and remarkable longevity. The estate is world-renowned for its iconic frosted bottles featuring classical portraits, symbolizing the artistic dedication inside each bottle. Sourced from vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils under a climate tempered by Atlantic influences, this wine is typically crafted from a traditional blend dominated by Tempranillo and complemented by Graciano. It undergoes extensive aging in American and French oak barrels, followed by years of refinement in the winery's deep, dark cellars, resulting in a complex bouquet of dried red fruits, tobacco, leather, and sweet baking spices.

Bodegas Faustino blev grundlagt i 1861 af Eleuterio Martínez Arzok og er en ikonisk, familieejet vingård beliggende i Oyón i hjertet af Spaniens prestigefyldte Rioja Alavesa-region. Vingården ledes i dag af fjerde generation af Martínez Zabala-familien og råder over mere end 650 hektar førsteklasses vinmarker i Rioja, hvor traditionel vindyrkning går hånd i hånd med omhyggelig fadlagring.
