✨ wine.spec_sheet

Bodegas Faustino, located in the historic town of Oyón within Rioja Alavesa, has been a pillar of Spanish winemaking since its founding in 1861. The Faustino V Reserva is a quintessential representation of classic Rioja, instantly recognizable by its distinctive frosted bottle adorned with a Rembrandt portrait. This red blend is dominated by Tempranillo, complemented by a touch of Mazuelo, sourced from vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils. Following traditional Rioja Reserva regulations, the wine undergoes meticulous aging, spending around 18 months in American oak casks followed by significant bottle aging. This process tames the vibrant fruit, weaving in complex notes of vanilla, sweet spice, and leather while maintaining a bright, elegant acidity that reflects the cooler microclimate of Rioja Alavesa.
