✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the historic Bodegas Faustino in Rioja Alavesa, an estate with over 150 years of winemaking heritage, the Faustino VII Rosado is a classic representation of Spanish rosé. Adorned with the iconic Rembrandt portrait that defines the Faustino brand, this wine is typically crafted from Tempranillo. The grapes undergo a brief cold maceration to extract a brilliant, pale pink hue and delicate aromas of red currants and raspberries. Grown in clay-limestone soils under a climate influenced by both the Atlantic and Mediterranean, it captures the fresh, vibrant, and fruit-forward side of Rioja's terroir without oak aging.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1861 by Eleuterio Martínez Arzok, Bodegas Faustino is a historic estate located in Oyón, within the prestigious Rioja Alavesa region of Spain. Now managed by the fourth generation of the Martínez Zabala family, the winery has become globally synonymous with premium Rioja, particularly renowned for its iconic frosted bottles and long-aged Gran Reserva wines. Faustino's winemaking philosophy combines traditional Rioja aging in American and French oak casks with modern techniques, utilizing estate-grown Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo. Beyond their legendary red reservoirs like Faustino I, the estate also crafts elegant whites, rosés, and traditional-method Cava sparkling wines.
