While Tuscany is globally renowned for its powerful red wines, the Frescobaldi family has cultivated a sophisticated white winemaking tradition that dates back generations. A pivotal moment in this history occurred in 1855 when Leonia degli Albizzi, marrying into the Frescobaldi family, introduced French white varieties like Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco to the high-altitude, cool-climate vineyards of Pomino. For their classic Tuscan Bianco expressions, Frescobaldi harmoniously blends these imported varieties with traditional local grapes such as Vermentino and Trebbiano. To preserve the delicate floral aromas, crisp orchard fruit notes, and bright mineral drive characteristic of the Tuscan terroir, the wine is fermented and aged entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, avoiding oak contact to maintain its refreshing, vibrant personality.

Frescobaldi er et af Toscanas mest historiske og agtede aristokratiske vindynastier med en stolt vinmagerarv, der strækker sig over 700 år tilbage til begyndelsen af det 14. århundrede. Med base i Firenze råder Frescobaldi-familien over en perlerække af ikoniske ejendomme i Toscanas ypperste terroirs, herunder Castello Nipozzano i Chianti Rùfina, Tenuta CastelGiocondo i Montalcino, Tenuta Castiglioni samt det berømte Tenuta Luce.
