✨ wine.spec_sheet

Crafted by the legendary Gaja estate in Piedmont, Cremes is an innovative and harmonious blend of Dolcetto and Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) sourced from the rolling hills of the Langhe DOC. Angelo Gaja, renowned for revolutionizing Italian winemaking, created this cuvée to marry the rustic charm of Piedmont's traditional Dolcetto with the noble elegance of Pinot Nero. Dolcetto lends the wine its deep ruby hue, juicy dark cherry flavors, and soft, approachable tannins, while Pinot Nero introduces delicate red berry aromatics, silky texture, and vibrant acidity. Fermented in stainless steel and aged briefly in oak to preserve its bright fruit character, Cremes represents a playful yet sophisticated expression of Langhe's unique microclimate and Gaja's pioneering spirit.

Founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja in the village of Barbaresco, Piedmont, Gaja is one of the world's most legendary wine estates, celebrated for revolutionizing Italian viticulture. Under the visionary leadership of Angelo Gaja, who joined the family business in 1961, the winery pioneered modern techniques in the Langhe, including green harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentations, and aging in French barriques. Gaja is globally renowned for its iconic single-vineyard Nebbiolo bottlings, such as Sor'i San Lorenzo, Costa Russi, and Sperss, alongside pioneering white wines like Gaia & Rey. The family has since expanded its uncompromising pursuit of quality to Tuscany, producing acclaimed Brunello di Montalcino at Pieve Santa Restituta and Bolgheri blends at Ca' Marcanda.
