While Georges Duboeuf is globally synonymous with the Gamay grape and the rolling hills of Beaujolais, the historic merchant house also looks southward to the sun-drenched vineyards of the Pays d'Oc to craft expressive, accessible varietal wines. This Cabernet Sauvignon captures the warm, Mediterranean climate of southern France, where the grape thrives on clay-limestone soils swept by the Mistral wind. Historically, the Languedoc region has been a crossroads of viticulture since Roman times, and Duboeuf applies his signature focus on fruit purity and immediate charm to this classic Bordeaux variety. Vinified primarily in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant primary fruit, this wine offers an approachable, supple expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, filled with notes of blackcurrant, dark cherry, and subtle herbaceous undertones, free from heavy oak influence.

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf har hjemsted i Romanèche-Thorins i det franske Beaujolais og blev grundlagt i 1964 af Georges Duboeuf, der ofte hyldes som 'Kongen af Beaujolais'.
