Chateau de la Perriere, nestled in the prestigious Brouilly appellation of Beaujolais, is an estate steeped in history with roots stretching back to the 14th century. The name 'Perriere' itself pays homage to the stony, granite-rich soils of the vineyard, which impart a distinct mineral complexity to the wine. Under the curation of the legendary Georges Duboeuf, this estate showcases the true potential of the Gamay grape. Cultivated on sunny slopes, the vines benefit from a unique microclimate that coaxes out deep, expressive fruit flavors. The winemaking traditionally employs semi-carbonic maceration, a method that coaxes out vibrant red berry aromas, soft tannins, and a silky texture, while preserving the elegant, structured backbone characteristic of this historic Cru.

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf har hjemsted i Romanèche-Thorins i det franske Beaujolais og blev grundlagt i 1964 af Georges Duboeuf, der ofte hyldes som 'Kongen af Beaujolais'. Négociant-huset revolutionerede regionens internationale profil ved at slå et slag for domæneaftapninger, opbygge tætte partnerskaber med lokale vinbønder og gøre det årlige Beaujolais Nouveau-fænomen verdensberømt.
