Hailing from the rolling, granite-rich hills of Beaujolais, France, Domaine de Grand Croix is a classic expression of the Gamay grape, curated by the legendary négociant Georges Duboeuf. Known as the 'King of Beaujolais,' Duboeuf dedicated his life to elevating the region's reputation, partnering with exceptional family estates like Grand Croix to showcase localized terroir. This red wine is crafted using traditional semi-carbonic maceration, a technique that coaxes vibrant red fruit aromas of wild strawberry and raspberry, along with delicate floral notes, from the thin-skinned Gamay grapes. The soils here, dominated by decomposed granite and schist, impart a subtle mineral undertone and a refreshing acidity, reflecting centuries of Beaujolais winemaking heritage where simplicity and joy in a glass are highly prized.

Les Vins Georges Duboeuf har hjemsted i Romanèche-Thorins i det franske Beaujolais og blev grundlagt i 1964 af Georges Duboeuf, der ofte hyldes som 'Kongen af Beaujolais'.
