Domaine du Paradis is a highly regarded estate-bottled Saint-Amour Cru Beaujolais, brought to international acclaim by the legendary 'King of Beaujolais,' Georges Duboeuf. Crafted from 100% Gamay, this wine hails from the northernmost Cru of Beaujolais, Saint-Amour, which takes its name from a Roman soldier named Amor who converted to Christianity and founded a monastery in the region. The estate's vines thrive on complex soils of granite, clay, and schist, imparting a distinct mineral undertone to the wine. Vinified using traditional semi-carbonic maceration, this expression showcases the signature elegance of Saint-Amour, blending vibrant red berry aromas with delicate floral notes of violet and peony, supported by soft, silky tannins.

Established in 1964 by Georges Duboeuf—the visionary merchant famously dubbed the 'King of Beaujolais'—Les Vins Georges Duboeuf transformed the global reputation of Gamay. Headquartered in Romanèche-Thorins, the family négociant house collaborates with hundreds of winegrowers spanning southern Burgundy and Beaujolais. The portfolio captures the diverse terroirs across the ten regional Crus, where Gamay thrives on distinctive pink granite, manganese-rich schist, and decomposed clay slopes under a semi-continental climate with Mediterranean influences.
