Gerard Bertrand's Prima Nature Syrah Rosé represents a modern revolution in the ancient winemaking landscape of the Languedoc-Roussillon. Born from Bertrand's deep commitment to biodynamics and ecological preservation, the Prima Nature range is crafted entirely without added sulfites, celebrating the raw, unadulterated essence of the grape. The Syrah vines thrive in the sun-drenched, clay-limestone terroirs of the Pays d'Oc, where Mediterranean breezes cool the vineyards. Historically, this region has transitioned from high-yield production to a haven for organic innovation. This rosé is made using direct pressing under protective atmospheres to prevent oxidation, resulting in a pure, vibrant expression of Syrah filled with notes of fresh red berries and a subtle, characteristic peppery spice.

Established in 1992 by former French international rugby player Gérard Bertrand following the legacy of his father Georges at Domaine de Villemajou, the estate has emerged as an undisputed pioneer of fine wine in the Languedoc. Headquartered at the coastal Château l'Hospitalet within the limestone massif of La Clape, Bertrand orchestrates over 900 hectares of vineyard land across premium terroirs spanning Corbières, Minervois-La-Livinière, Terrasses du Larzac, and Limoux. The enterprise represents the world’s largest producer of Demeter-certified biodynamic wines, guided by regenerative viticulture, lunar cycles, and chemical-free soil stewardship.
