✨ Technical Specifications

Nestled in the rugged, volcanic landscape of the Terrasses du Larzac in the Languedoc, Château de la Sauvageonne is a site steeped in legend, taking its name from the wild, untamed nature of its surrounding hillsides. The 'Villa Rose' rosé is a beautiful expression of this unique terroir, where dramatic diurnal temperature variations and stony, schist-rich soils yield grapes of exceptional tension and aromatic complexity. Crafted primarily from a classic Languedoc blend of Grenache and Syrah, the wine undergoes a gentle direct pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve its delicate pale hue and vibrant fruit profile. Gerard Bertrand's commitment to preserving the natural harmony of the land shines through in this elegant cuvée, which captures the essence of the Mediterranean breeze and the wild, historic soul of the region.
