✨ wine.spec_sheet

Crafted by Languedoc pioneer Gérard Bertrand at Château l’Hospitalet, Viala is a prestigious red cuvée from the rugged, wind-swept cliffs of the La Clape AOC. Once an island in Roman times, this unique maritime terroir features limestone-rich soils infused with the wild scents of the Mediterranean garrigue. The wine is a masterful blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache, hand-harvested and aged in French oak barrels. It represents Bertrand's deep commitment to biodynamic viticulture and expresses a rich tapestry of dark fruit, tapenade, and toasted spices, reflecting the ancient soul of this coastal landscape.
