To celebrate two centuries of distilling heritage since its foundation in 1797, Glen Garioch released this legendary 37-year-old single malt. Distilled in 1958 and matured in the cool, damp dunnage warehouses of Oldmeldrum, this expression represents a bygone era of Highland whisky production. During the 1950s, Glen Garioch still used locally peated malt, giving this incredibly rare bottling a distinctively rich, smoky, and deeply complex character quite different from their modern unpeated style. It offers a liquid archive of Aberdeenshire's distilling history, marrying old-style peat smoke with decades of oak influence, tropical fruit notes, and heather honey.

Established in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson, Glen Garioch is one of Scotland's oldest operating distilleries, located in the historic market town of Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Now owned by Beam Suntory, the distillery is celebrated for its heritage and its recent return to traditional floor maltings and direct-fired heating for its copper pot stills. Glen Garioch is renowned for producing a robust, non-chill-filtered Highland single malt whisky, characterized by a rich, honeyed, and malt-forward profile with hints of heather, sweet spices, and, in its historic expressions, a delicate touch of peat smoke.
