Distilled in 1958 and matured for nearly half a century before its bottling in 2004, this legendary 46-year-old single malt is a monument to Glen Garioch's historic craftsmanship. Hailing from the fertile Garioch zone in Aberdeenshire, known as the 'Granary of Aberdeenshire' for its exceptional barley, this expression captures a bygone era of Scotch production. It exhibits the classic mid-century Highland profile: a rich tapestry of heather honey, old leather, beeswax, dried stone fruits, and a delicate, archaic touch of peat smoke that has beautifully integrated over decades in oak. It represents one of the oldest and most prestigious official releases from this historic distillery.
