This Highland single malt represents the distillery's robust, heavy, and characterfully waxy spirit, matured in a refill barrel. Unlike first-fill casks, which can dominate the spirit with intense vanilla and oak notes, a refill barrel allows the true distillery character to take center stage. The result is a beautifully balanced expression showcasing Glen Garioch's signature profile of rich malted barley, heather honey, green orchard fruits, and a subtle, earthy spice. The distillery's historic reliance on local water sources and traditional production methods, including a recent return to direct-fired stills and floor maltings, infuses every drop with a deep sense of Highland heritage.
