This exceptional single cask expression was distilled at the historic Glen Garioch distillery in the fertile Garioch zone of Aberdeenshire, historically celebrated as the 'Granary of Scotland' for its superior barley. Selected and bottled by the independent bottler Single Cask Nation, Cask No. 2753 is a 9-year-old Highland single malt matured in a second-fill Bourbon hogshead. Distilled in December 2011 and bottled in September 2021, this release highlights the robust, waxen, and honeyed distillate characteristic of Glen Garioch, beautifully complemented by the gentle vanilla, orchard fruit, and soft oak spices imparted by the bourbon wood.
