Hailing from the valley of the deer—'Glenfiddich' in Scottish Gaelic—this exceptional 15-year-old single malt is a testament to the vision of William Grant, who founded the distillery in Dufftown in 1886. The Distillery Edition is a higher-strength, non-chill filtered expression crafted to reflect the traditional, robust character of Speyside whiskies as they would be tasted straight from the cask. Matured for fifteen years in a combination of traditional American oak and Spanish Oloroso sherry wood, it develops a deep, concentrated complexity. The nose is rich with floral aromas, peppery spice, and dark fruit, leading to a palate of luscious creaminess, warming spices, and a long, rewarding finish. This expression honors the legacy of Christmas Day 1887, when the first drops of spirit flowed from the Glenfiddich copper stills.
