Glenfiddich, meaning 'Valley of the Deer' in Scottish Gaelic, was founded by William Grant in 1886 in Dufftown, the heart of Speyside. The Perpetual Collection VAT 04 represents a masterful fusion of traditional distilling and modern maturation techniques. This 18-year-old single malt is aged in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks before being married in Glenfiddich's innovative Solera Vat 04, which is kept constantly half full to ensure a continuous, evolving lineage of flavor. The process yields a remarkably complex whisky, rich with notes of baked apple, warm oak, and sweet spice, embodying the pioneering spirit of the Grant family.

Founded in 1886 by William Grant and constructed by hand with the help of his family, Glenfiddich Distillery is situated in the heart of Dufftown in Scotland's renowned Speyside region. Still independently owned by William Grant & Sons, the distillery made history in 1963 by pioneering the international single malt Scotch whisky category beyond traditional blended scotch.
