Deep in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, lies the historic Glenfiddich distillery, founded by William Grant in 1886. This extraordinary liquid, distilled in 1937 and laid to rest in Oak Cask No. 843, survived the tumultuous years of World War II and matured for an astounding 64 years before being bottled in 2001. As one of the oldest and rarest single malt Scotch whiskies ever released, only 61 bottles were drawn from this single cask.
