This exceptional expression undergoes a meticulous dual-cask maturation process, spending a quarter of a century resting in a combination of Spanish Sherry butts and American Bourbon barrels. This prolonged slumber in the damp, cool Speyside warehouses allows the spirit to absorb the distinct characteristics of both woods. The Sherry casks impart deep notes of rich dried fruits, warm spices, and gingerbread, while the Bourbon barrels introduce layers of smooth vanilla, caramelized sugar, and toasted oak.
