The Glenlivet 21 Year Old 'The Sample Room Collection' represents a masterclass in wood finishing from one of Speyside's most historic distilleries. This expression is meticulously crafted by finishing the aged single malt in a combination of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, rare Tronais cognac oak casks, and vintage Colheita port casks. This triple-cask finish imparts layers of rich dried fruits, warm ginger, and toasted oak to the signature bright, floral, and orchard-fruit character of The Glenlivet's spirit, which has been distilled in their iconic lantern-shaped copper stills since George Smith secured the first legal license in the glen in 1824.
