Glenmorangie's 'A Tale of Forest' is a whimsical and pioneering expression from the historic Highland distillery, crafted under the creative guidance of Dr. Bill Lumsden. Inspired by the sensory wonder of walks through the Scottish woodlands, this unique single malt represents a revival of ancient kilning methods. The distillery kilned its barley with a select blend of forest botanicals, including juniper berries, birch bark, and heather flowers, infusing the grain with aromatic smoke. Distilled in Glenmorangie's signature copper pot stills—the tallest in Scotland, which yield an exceptionally pure and elegant spirit—and aged in active bourbon casks, this whisky sings with notes of pine, peppermint, bitter orange, and gentle woodsmoke. It pays homage to the lush, wild landscapes of the Highlands and the legendary storytelling heritage of Scottish folklore.
