Hailing from the legendary Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, Ross-shire, this exquisite 12-year-old Highland Single Malt is a testament to the distillery's pioneering spirit in wood finishing. Utilizing Scotland's tallest copper pot stills—which are as tall as an adult giraffe to ensure only the lightest, purest vapors ascend—the spirit begins its journey with a ten-year maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then finished for an additional two years in rare French Calvados casks from Normandy. This finishing process infuses the classic, delicate Glenmorangie orchard-fruit profile with rich, baked-apple sweetness, soft jasmine, and subtle notes of cocoa and spice, marrying Scottish distilling heritage with French artisanal brandy traditions.
