⏳ wine.drinking_window

As a distilled spirit, this single malt does not mature further in the bottle and is ready to enjoy immediately upon release. Unopened bottles will remain pristine indefinitely, while opened bottles are best enjoyed within 1 to 2 years to preserve the delicate fruit and wine-finish aromatics.

✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the legendary Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, within the Northern Highlands of Scotland, this pioneering expression showcases the art of wood finishing. Distilled in Scotland's tallest stills—which reach the height of an adult giraffe to ensure only the purest, lightest vapors are condensed—the spirit initially matures in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then transferred to French oak casks that previously held Claret (Bordeaux red wine) for a secondary maturation. This innovative process, pioneered by Glenmorangie, marries the distillery's signature citrus and floral elegance with the rich, red-berry, and toasted-oak complexities of fine French red wine, reflecting a historic connection between Scottish distillers and French vintners.
