Distilled in Scotland's tallest stills—which reach the height of an adult giraffe to ensure only the purest, lightest vapors are condensed—the spirit initially matures in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then transferred to French oak casks that previously held Claret (Bordeaux red wine) for a secondary maturation.
