Hailing from the historic Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, within the rugged Northern Highlands of Scotland, this rare Commemorative Millennium Bottling was crafted to celebrate the dawn of the year 2000. Established in 1843 by William Matheson, Glenmorangie is legendary for its copper pot stills—the tallest in Scotland—which rise to the height of a fully grown giraffe. These towering stills ensure that only the lightest, purest vapors ascend to condense, resulting in an exceptionally elegant, smooth, and floral spirit. Utilizing the mineral-rich waters of the local Tarlogie Springs, this special release represents the pinnacle of the distillery's traditional craftsmanship, aged in select American white oak ex-bourbon casks to impart signature notes of vanilla, honey, and delicate citrus. It stands as a liquid monument to the passage of time and the enduring legacy of the 'Men of Tain'.
