Hailing from the rolling hills of Ross-shire in the Scottish Highlands, Glenmorangie is celebrated for its pioneering spirit and its exceptionally tall copper pot stills—the height of an adult giraffe—which produce an elegant, pure distillate. The Pride 1974 is a legendary, ultra-rare single malt Scotch whisky representing the pinnacle of the distillery's craftsmanship. Distilled in 1974, this exquisite spirit underwent a meticulous double-maturation process, spending decades in a combination of finest ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This prolonged slumber of 41 years allowed the whisky to develop an unparalleled depth, marrying Glenmorangie's signature citrus and floral character with intense notes of dark chocolate, balsamic, and antique oak, steeped in the rich folklore of Highland distilling heritage.
