The 'Tain L'Hermitage' release represents a pioneering chapter in the distillery's history of wood finishing. Distilled in the Highlands and subsequently finished in toasted oak casks that previously held the legendary Syrah wines of Hermitage in France's Rhône Valley, this expression marries the light, floral, and citrus character of Glenmorangie with the deep, dark fruit, spice, and structured tannins of the French red wine casks.
