This particular bottling of the 10-Year-Old Single Highland Malt, dating from the 1990s, captures a historic era of the distillery's production before its modern rebranding. Glenmorangie is legendary for possessing the tallest copper pot stills in Scotland—standing at the height of an adult giraffe—which ensures that only the lightest and purest vapors ascend to condense. Aged primarily in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, this expression represents the classic Highland style: elegant, floral, and remarkably soft, with delicate notes of citrus, honey, vanilla, and a gentle malty sweetness.
