Its name pays homage to the iconic arm-and-broadsword coat of arms of founder Richard Hennessy. First introduced in the mid-20th century, Bras d'Or was crafted as a highly refined, premium blend positioned between VSOP and XO. Distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the chalky soils of the Cognac region, the eaux-de-vie were double-distilled in traditional copper alembic stills and aged in Limousin oak casks. This rare expression is celebrated for its deep amber hue, complex aromas of dried fruits, subtle spices, and mellow oak, representing a golden era of Hennessy's master blending heritage.
