A celebratory fusion of sports culture and historic craftsmanship, the Hennessy NBA Limited Edition VSOP 2024 brings a modern edge to a legendary blend. While the vibrant packaging honors Hennessy's role as the official spirit of the NBA, the liquid inside remains the timeless VSOP Privilege. The origin of this iconic blend dates back to 1817, when the future King George IV of Great Britain requested a 'Very Superior Old Pale' cognac from the house. Crafted primarily from Ugni Blanc grapes harvested across the premier crus of the Cognac region, the eaux-de-vie are double-distilled in traditional copper Charentais alembic stills. They are then aged in French oak casks, resulting in a harmonious blend of approximately 60 different eaux-de-vie that balance strength and smoothness with notes of vanilla, clove, and toasted wood.

Founded in 1765 by Irish officer Richard Hennessy in the historic town of Cognac, France, Hennessy has grown to become the world's most celebrated Cognac house. Headquartered on the banks of the Charente River along Rue de la Richonne, the house is renowned for its centuries-old blending heritage, famously guided by eight generations of master blenders from the Fillioux family. Utilizing traditional double-distillation in copper Charentais alembic stills, Hennessy ages its precious eaux-de-vie in French oak casks sourced from the Limousin forest to develop unparalleled complexity and depth. The estate's legendary portfolio is defined by iconic expressions such as the VSOP Privilège, the pioneering XO Cognac—a category first created by Maurice Hennessy in 1870—and the exquisite, ultra-premium Hennessy Paradis.
