Created in 1979 by Master Blender Maurice Fillioux, Hennessy Paradis is a legendary prestige Cognac named after the historic founder's cellar where the oldest and rarest eaux-de-vie are safeguarded. The coveted 1990s bottling captures a specific golden era of this blend, marrying hundreds of exceptional eaux-de-vie primarily sourced from the premier crus of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. These components, some distilled in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, were aged in ancient French oak casks within Hennessy's historic cellars. The result is a symphonic masterpiece of unparalleled elegance, characterized by its deep copper hue, silky texture, and the elusive 'rancio' note—a complex bouquet of dried apricots, jasmine, honeysuckle, and exotic spices that only decades of patient maturation can bestow.
