Originally created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for his close circle of friends, the XO designation established a new standard for aged Cognac. This special 'Spirit of Travel' edition celebrates Paris as a historic crossroads of culture and luxury. Crafted from a selection of over one hundred premier eaux-de-vie—primarily sourced from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois crus—the blend is distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes and aged in seasoned Limousin oak casks. The result is a profoundly complex spirit, displaying a deep amber hue and a rich tapestry of aromas including candied fruits, wild cocoa, sweet cinnamon, and a subtle, peppery oak finish that lingers beautifully on the palate.
