Highland Park, established in 1798 on the windswept Orkney Islands of Scotland, is steeped in Viking heritage and legendary distillation lore. Founded by Magnus Eunson, a direct descendant of Viking pioneers who was a church beadle by day and an illicit distiller by night, the distillery embraces its Norse roots. The Orkney Single Malt 25 Year Old is a masterpiece of slow, traditional craftsmanship. Its unique character is shaped by the island's treeless, heather-rich peat, hand-cut from Hobbister Moor, which imparts a distinct, aromatic floral smokiness rather than the heavy medicinal peat of the Islay region. Matured for a quarter of a century in hand-selected, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, this single malt delivers a deeply complex profile of rich dried fruits, warm spices, dark chocolate, and Highland Park's signature sweet heather honey smoke.

Highland Park blev grundlagt i 1798 i Kirkwall på det afsidesliggende Orkney-øhav og er et af Skotlands mest traditionsrige og nordligst beliggende single malt-destillerier.
