Founded by Magnus Eunson, a direct descendant of Viking settlers who famously hid illicit spirits under his church pulpit, the distillery remains one of the northernmost in the world. This exceptional 30-year-old single malt reflects Orkney's unique maritime terroir. Unlike mainland distilleries, Highland Park uses peat hand-cut from Hobbister Moor, which is packed with decomposing heather rather than wood, imparting a distinctively sweet, aromatic floral smoke.
