This exceptional expression is an independent bottling by Morrison & MacKay under their prestigious Crn Mr 'Celebration of the Cask' series. Distilled in 1996 and matured for 22 years in a single Sherry Hogshead (Cask #2476) before being bottled in 2018, this single malt captures the perfect marriage of Orkney's signature heather-honeyed peat smoke and the rich, dark-fruit influence of Spanish oak. The maritime climate of the Islands slows down the maturation process, allowing the spirit to develop an incredibly complex profile of dried figs, warm baking spices, and a whisper of coastal brine.
