Hailing from the wind-swept Orkney Islands, Highland Park is one of Scotland's most northerly and legendary distilleries, founded in 1798 by the colorful Magnus Eunson—a butcher and church officer by day, and an illicit distiller by night. This 'Full Cask' No 47 single malt showcases the unique maritime terroir of Orkney, where treeless, gale-swept landscapes yield a distinctive peat from Hobbister Moor. This peat, rich in heather rather than wood, imparts a sweet, aromatic, and delicate smoky character. Matured in a traditional hogshead cask, this expression captures the distillery's signature balance of heather-honey sweetness, gentle peat smoke, and maritime brine, reflecting centuries of Viking heritage and uncompromising traditional floor-malting methods.

Highland Park blev grundlagt i 1798 i Kirkwall på det afsidesliggende Orkney-øhav og er et af Skotlands mest traditionsrige og nordligst beliggende single malt-destillerier.
