Highland Park, established in 1798 on the windswept Orkney Islands, is steeped in Viking history and legendary lore. Founded by the legendary smuggler Magnus Eunson, the distillery is famous for its traditional methods, including floor malting and the use of aromatic, heather-rich peat harvested from nearby Hobbister Moor. This specific release, 'Full Cask' No 206, is a single cask bottling matured in a refill barrel. Refill casks allow the distillery's signature honeyed, floral, and gently smoky spirit character to shine through without being overpowered by dominant wood notes. The result is an authentic expression of Orkney's rugged, maritime terroir, balancing delicate sweetness with a whisper of peat smoke.
