Established in 1798 by the legendary Magnus Eunson, a descendant of Viking settlers, Highland Park is anchored in the wild, wind-swept landscape of the Orkney Islands. This rare 30-Year-Old Spring Release, bottled in 2019 at 45.2% ABV, represents the pinnacle of Orcadian craftsmanship. The distillery's signature character comes from the hand-cut, heather-rich peat of Hobbister Moor, which imparts a gentle, aromatic peat smoke rather than the heavy, medicinal notes found in other Scottish regions. Slowly matured over three decades in cool, maritime warehouses, this expression benefits from a harmonious marriage of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks. The result is an incredibly complex spirit boasting layers of dark chocolate, dried orange peel, warm spices, and a whisper of sweet floral smoke, capturing the rugged, mystical soul of Orkney.

Highland Park klamrer sig til det forblæste Orkney ud for Skotlands nordlige kyst. Destilleriet blev grundlagt i 1798 af den illegale destillatør Magnus Eunson, inden det opnåede officiel licens i 1826.
