✨ Technical Specifications
Created as a magnificent tribute to the house's English founder, Thomas Hine, this unique Fine Champagne Cognac is a masterclass in cross-Channel maturation. Thomas Hine arrived in France from Dorset in the late 18th century, was briefly imprisoned during the French Revolution, and eventually married into a cognac-making family, elevating the house to legendary status. Homage is an extraordinary blend of three distinct 'Early Landed' single-vintage Cognacs (1984, 1986, and 1987) that were shipped in cask to age in the cool, damp maritime cellars of Bristol, England. These are artfully blended with select vintage Cognacs aged in the drier, warmer cellars of Jarnac, France. The result is a beautifully complex spirit that marries the delicate, floral, and ethereal qualities of British aging with the rich, structured, and spicy notes of French maturation.
🍾 About the Producer
Established in 1763 and later named in 1817 by Englishman Thomas Hine, Maison Hine is an esteemed Cognac house situated along the banks of the Charente River in Jarnac, France. Holding a distinguished Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II since 1962, the house is celebrated for its artisanal philosophy and dedicated focus on the premier terroirs of Grande and Petite Champagne. Hine is uniquely renowned for its mastery of single-vintage cognacs, including both classic Jarnac-aged releases and rare Early Landed casks matured in the damp, cool cellars of the United Kingdom. Emphasizing elegance, delicate floral aromatics, and minimal oak influence, the maison produces legendary expressions such as Antique XO Premier Cru, Triomphe, and single-harvest Bonneuil vintages.
