Famille Hugel, established in 1639 in the picturesque medieval village of Riquewihr, is one of Alsace's most legendary dynasties. The Riesling Jubilee Reserve Personnelle represents the absolute pinnacle of the estate's craft. Historically, the Hugel family resisted using the official 'Grand Cru' designation on their labels due to their strict standards regarding appellation boundaries. Instead, they bottled their finest estate fruit from the historic Grand Cru Schoenenbourg vineyard under the 'Jubilee' banner. Schoenenbourg's unique terroir—composed of fertile marl, dolomite, and gypsum-rich clay—imparts a profound mineral intensity, vibrant acidity, and a signature petrol complexity to this dry, 100% Riesling. Vinified in traditional large oak casks known as foudres, this wine is built for immense longevity.

Famille Hugel blev grundlagt i 1639 i den maleriske middelalderlandsby Riquewihr og er et af de mest hæderkronede og berømte vinhuse i Alsace. Vingården har været drevet uafbrudt gennem mere end tolv generationer af Hugel-familien og forener historiske familieejede vinmarker med nøje udvalgte druer for at hylde regionens alsidige terroir. Hugel spillede en afgørende rolle i udformningen af de officielle regler for Alsaces ædle senhøstkategorier, Vendanges Tardives og Sélection de Grains Nobles. Vinhuset nyder international anerkendelse for sine vine præget af renhed, elegance og et enestående lagringspotentiale.
