✨ Tekniske specifikationer
In 1905, Mr. Jack Daniel traveled to Liege, Belgium, where his signature Tennessee Whiskey was awarded a prestigious Gold Medal, solidifying his international reputation shortly after his historic 1904 St. Louis World's Fair victory. The Gold Medal Series commemorates these early triumphs. Crafted using the traditional Lincoln County Process, the spirit is slowly dripped through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before undergoing maturation in handcrafted, charred American white oak barrels. This meticulous process imparts a signature smoothness, rich caramel and vanilla sweetness, and a toasted oak complexity that pays homage to over a century of American distilling heritage.
🍾 Om vinhuset / producenten
Established in 1866 by Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, Jack Daniel's is recognized as the first registered distillery in the United States. The distillery relies on the iron-free, mineral-rich waters of Cave Spring Hollow and is defined by the traditional Lincoln County Process, in which unaged spirit is slowly mellowed through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before maturation. Now part of the Brown-Forman Corporation, the distillery maintains an uncompromising commitment to crafting authentic Tennessee whiskey. Renowned worldwide for its flagship Old No. 7, Jack Daniel's also crafts premium expressions like Gentleman Jack and its nuanced Single Barrel Collection, celebrated for their signature balance of sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and mellow caramel notes.
