✨ Technical Specifications

Though classified here under 'Other' as a distilled spirit, the Jack Daniel's 1915 Gold Medal Series is a legendary liquid testament to Tennessee's distilling heritage. This special release commemorates the gold medal won by the distillery at the Anglo-American Exposition in London in 1915. At the time, Tennessee was already under state-level prohibition, making this international recognition a bittersweet triumph orchestrated by Jack's nephew, Lem Motlow. Crafted using the traditional Lincoln County Process, the whiskey is filtered drop by drop through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging in newly charred American white oak barrels. This meticulous process imparts the signature smooth, sweet, and smoky character defined by notes of rich caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla.

🍾 About the Producer

Established in 1866 by Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, Jack Daniel's is recognized as the first registered distillery in the United States. The distillery relies on the iron-free, mineral-rich waters of Cave Spring Hollow and is defined by the traditional Lincoln County Process, in which unaged spirit is slowly mellowed through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before maturation. Now part of the Brown-Forman Corporation, the distillery maintains an uncompromising commitment to crafting authentic Tennessee whiskey. Renowned worldwide for its flagship Old No. 7, Jack Daniel's also crafts premium expressions like Gentleman Jack and its nuanced Single Barrel Collection, celebrated for their signature balance of sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and mellow caramel notes.
