Created by Jameson's fifth-generation Head Cooper, Ger Buckley, The Cooper's Croze is a celebratory Irish whiskey from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland, designed to showcase the profound impact of wood on spirit. Named after the croze—the specialized tool used to cut the groove for the cask head—this expression is a masterfully crafted blend of single pot still and single grain whiskeys. It is aged in a trio of cask types: virgin American oak, seasoned traditional bourbon barrels, and rich Sherry butts. This combination imparts a complex character rich with vanilla sweetness, toasted wood, ripe orchard fruits, and warm Spanish spices, reflecting centuries of coopering heritage and Irish distilling tradition.

John Jameson grundlagde sit destilleri på Bow Street i Dublin i 1780, og i dag fremstår Jameson som den ubestridte globale ambassadør for irsk whiskey.
