Jameson Blended Irish Whiskey carries a legacy dating back to 1780, when Scottish businessman John Jameson established his distillery on Bow Street in Dublin. Guided by his ambition to create the highest quality whiskey, Jameson pioneered a signature style defined by triple distillation, which yields an exceptionally smooth spirit compared to the double-distilled Scotch counterparts. This iconic blend combines rich pot still whiskey—crafted from a mix of malted and unmalted Irish barley—with delicate grain whiskey. The spirit is aged for a minimum of four years in a combination of Spanish sherry butts and American bourbon barrels, imparting notes of sweet vanilla, toasted wood, and ripe orchard fruit. A cornerstone of Irish distilling heritage, it represents the resilient spirit of Dublin's historic golden age of whiskey making.

John Jameson grundlagde sit destilleri på Bow Street i Dublin i 1780, og i dag fremstår Jameson som den ubestridte globale ambassadør for irsk whiskey.
