Winemaker John Bigelow uses this cuvée to explore the nuances of Washington State Grenache, a grape that requires patience and precise vineyard management to truly shine. Sourced from acclaimed, high-elevation sites in the Columbia Valley, such as the Boushey Vineyard, the wine benefits from warm days and cool desert nights. This dramatic diurnal shift preserves the grape's natural acidity while allowing for optimal phenolic ripeness. The wine is typically aged in neutral French oak barrels to preserve its vibrant red fruit profile, floral aromatics, and delicate white pepper spice, showcasing a lighter, more elegant side of Washington red winemaking.

JM Cellars blev grundlagt i 1998 af John og Peggy Bigelow og regnes i dag for et toneangivende, familieejet mikrovineri med base på Bramble Bump – en skovklædt oase i Woodinville, Washington. Med kyndig vejledning fra prominente Washington-vinmagere som Mike Januik og Charlie Hoppes udviklede ægteparret Bigelow sig hurtigt fra garagister i kælderen til førende producenter af stedtypiske vine i små partier fra Pacific Northwest.
