Sourced from one of Washington State's most celebrated cool-climate sites, the Connor Lee Vineyard in the Columbia Valley, this Chardonnay showcases the exceptional attributes of Dijon Clone 95. First planted in the 1980s by Connor and Lanette Lee, the vineyard features fine, sandy loam soils and a unique microclimate that allows grapes to ripen slowly while retaining brilliant natural acidity. JM Cellars meticulously crafts this single-vineyard offering to highlight the clone's signature profile: a beautiful tension between rich, textured stone fruit and a vibrant, mineral-driven finish. Typically fermented and aged in French oak barrels with careful lees stirring, this wine strikes a masterful balance between creamy complexity and crisp, refreshing elegance, embodying the sophisticated potential of Washington white wines.
