Named in honor of founder John Bigelow's mother, Margaret, the vineyard is situated within the acclaimed SeVein vineyard development, where vines dig deep into fractured basalt covered by wind-blown loess. This unique terroir, coupled with sustainable, Salmon-Safe farming practices, coaxes an extraordinary intensity from the Malbec grape. JM Cellars blev grundlagt i 1998 af John og Peggy Bigelow og er et anerkendt, familiedrevet vinhus beliggende i de fredfyldte, skovklædte omgivelser ved Bramble Bump i Woodinville, Washington, suppleret af deres egne vinmarker på Margaret's Vineyard i Walla Walla Valley.
